The Drexel Arts Administration Graduate Association (AAGA) and The Artistic Rebuttal Book Project (ARBP) enthusiastically invite you to attend a Speaker Event:
How National Arts Advocacy Invokes Local Change
May 16th from 6 to 8pm
Drexel University, Nesbitt Hall, 1st Floor, 33rd and Market Streets.
2011’s Arts Advocacy Day has come and gone and the AAGA sent a record-breaking 19 students to Washington, DC to fight for the arts on behalf of the nation and its people! If you have any interest in the arts and promoting them at the national level this is an important and potentially inspirational event in which to participate.
This evening will consist of a look back at this year’s Arts Advocacy Day as well as include a presentation by the Director and Deputy Director and participating artists, regarding their grassroots advocacy effort, The Artistic Rebuttal Book Project, and an opportunity to network with fellow students, artists, and professionals from the arts and culture field.
